The “Klenkes“ is an old greeting symbol amongst citizens of the city Aachen, Germany. The Museum Centre Charlemagne in Aachen was preparing for an exhibition about the topic „Beer in the city“. I used the old greeting symbol as an inspiration to create the bottle opener.
